Privacy Policy

What we collect when you get in touch or book a transfer, and why — kept short and to the point.

1. Who we are

1.1This policy covers data collected by PARSON S.R.L., registration number J2022000815329, tax ID (CUI) 46014713, registered address Sibiu, Cal. Surii Mici FN, bl. R1, ap. 40 (“Waypoint”, “we”, “us”), the data controller for the personal data described below.

1.2Questions about this policy or your data? Contact us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

2.1When you contact us to ask about or book a transfer — via WhatsApp, email or our booking form — we collect the details you give us: full name, phone number, email, pickup and drop-off points, travel dates and times, passenger count, and any luggage or accessibility notes relevant to the trip.

2.2We don't collect payment card details ourselves — any online payment is handled directly by our payment provider, who processes that data under their own privacy policy.

2.3This website uses a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Vercel Analytics) to see aggregated visit numbers and popular pages. It doesn't set tracking cookies and doesn't identify you personally.

3. Why we use it

3.1To confirm, plan and carry out your transfer — this is the core reason we ask for your details, and processing is necessary to perform the contract between us once a booking is confirmed.

3.2To contact you about your booking — confirmations, timing changes, weather-related rescheduling, or questions we need answered before pickup.

3.3To meet our own legal obligations — for example, keeping financial records for the period required under Romanian tax law.

4. Where it goes

4.1Bookings made over WhatsApp are also processed by WhatsApp/Meta as the messaging platform — see Meta's own privacy policy for how they handle that data. We don't control what WhatsApp does with message metadata beyond our conversation with you.

4.2We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except where needed to deliver the service (e.g. a payment provider for an online payment) or where required by law.

5. How long we keep it

5.1Booking details are kept for as long as needed to complete your transfer and handle any follow-up (lost property, disputes, etc.), then deleted or anonymised — except where a longer period is required for financial record-keeping under Romanian law.

6. Your rights

6.1Under GDPR, you can ask us to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy in a portable format. Contact [email protected] and we'll respond within a month.

6.2If you think we've mishandled your data, you can complain to Romania's data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), at any time.

7. Changes to this policy

7.1We may update this policy as our services or tools change. The version in force is the one published on this page.
